Art Burn

29 May - 9 June November 2013

This year sees the centenary of the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) in Sydney. Since 1913 the WEA has provided a broad range of adult education to the citizens of Sydney. To celebrate the occasion WEA art tutor Cilla Campbell has organised an exhibition of students work at the Incinerator Art Space in Willoughby from 29 May to 9 June 2013. The show – cheekily titled Art Burn - will include linocuts by Sydney WEA printmakers as well as images from the plein air drawing class. The venue is a former 1930s incinerator originally designed by Walter Burley Griffin.
