Art Tour Ross River 2012

Art Tour Ross River 14 July – 21 July 2012. Please join me in the heart of central Australia and experience the daily rhythms and serenity of life in the Outback. We will have exclusive access to the country of the eastern Arrernte people with its spectacular wilderness and vast landscape. This trip is suitable for the intermediate and advanced artist, however beginners are welcome. You may prefer to draw, paint, pastel - even cut lino or woodcuts. We will create art in a different site every day including a full day excursion to the extraordinary N'dhala Gorge (pictured top right). This is not a camping tour and you will be staying in comfortable territory style cabins (both single and twin share) which include their own bathroom. I am a graduate of the National Art School (BFA 2005) and teach drawing, pastels, portraiture and printmaking as well as en plein air classes around Sydney. Art Tour Spain 2012

Art Tour Andalucia, Spain 14 – 21 April 2012. Join me for an unforgettable art experience in the heart of Andalucia. Be inspired by the rich cultural legacy of the Moors and visit the historic cities of Granada and Cordoba. Discover ancient olive groves, wild mountain scenery and hidden white villages in the unspoilt Sierras Subbeticas. Be cared for by Tim and Claire Murray-Walker in their comfortable country casa for a week of painting, drawing and long lazy lunches. This trip is suitable for the beginner, intermediate and advanced artist with a maximum of 10 participants. You may prefer to draw, paint, pastel or create lino or woodcuts. This is a small group with many opportunities for individual tuition. Spoilt for choice, we plan to create 'en aire libre' every day; however there are wonderful views from Casa Olea and other indoor options should the weather let us down. Create as much or as little as you like in these stunning surroundings. Casa Olea is a charming cortijo (olive farm) in the heart of Andalucia between Granada and Cordoba
