Denise Lovric

In my printmaking practice I employ a variety of techniques and materials: Relief (lino, collagraph and wood), monotypes and drypoint etchings to create works on paper and fabric. I eco dye paper and fabric to sometimes use that in my printmaking work.

The work can be a response to the natural environment, human society and activity, current affairs, history, science etc., The resulting image can be figurative or abstract.

My work has been exhibited with Pine Street Creative Arts, Chippendale; with the Bathurst Street Printmakers exhibitions at Chrissie Cotter Gallery and at Leichhardt Library; The Incinerator, Willoughby NSW; The Palm House, Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney; Barometer Gallery, Paddington, NSW; The Calyx in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney and in the Bathurst Street Printmakers' collaborative exhibitions with Fire Station Print Studio, Armadale, Vic and Thumb Print Workshop, Mt Gambier, SA.
