Joseph will cover all aspects of successful painting using frequent demonstrations and detailed analysis. From simpler compositions of seascapes and landscapes to street scenes, you will learn how to recognise major shapes, draw, understand tone, place figures in your work and master techniques from dry brush to wet in wet. Joseph will reveal secrets of painting into light, creating a variety of edges from soft to hard and many other helpful hints designed to help you reach new heights of artistic ability.

The workshops are limited to 12 intermediate – advanced participants.

There is space for 3 beginner artists to attend the demonstrations by Joseph – a rare opportunity to watch a master at work. Please note beginners will not receive tuition.

Participants need good basic watercolour skills for this workshop.
