OVERVIEW
Four days in Corner Country where 3 states meet
White Cliffs – Tibooburra – Cameron Corner
NSW Corner Country is the real Australian Outback! Be amazed by the stunning colours, endless blue horizons, piercing red sand dunes and rugged rocky escarpments.
Staying underground in White Cliffs is an experience you will never forget and an opportunity to meet the people who live and work in this quirky outback town.
Take the opportunity to visit three states at once at Cameron Corner as well as the Dingo Fence.
Sturt National Park – home to the big red kangaroo and a haven for various lizards and flocks of budgies, galahs, corellas and cockateils. The opportunities for spotting birds and wildlife are endless.
We’ll spend two nights in Tibooburra, the most remote town in NSW. Our accommodation is the Family Hotel, built in 1881 from local sandstone with a living art gallery by Clifton Pugh, Russell Drysdale et. al and oozing with characters and stories. Take time to have a drink and chat to the unique locals!
