Explore the language of colour with pastels.  

Pastels are both a drawing and painting medium and the ultimate tool for the creative artist. This workshop style class allows you to practise techniques to utilise the sensation of colour, with the guidance of an experienced artist. Suitable for beginner and intermediate students. The emphasis of this course, beside learning the basic rules, is to encourage and stimulate your creativity.

WHAT TO BRING

  • 1 x A3 Mi-Teinte Textured Paper Black
  • 1 x A3 Mi-Teinte Textured Paper Neutral Colour (preferably grey)
  • 1 x Black Conte Crayon (or similar brand)
  • 1 x White Conte Crayon (or similar brand)
  • Bring any pastels, crayons, pastel pencils or pastel mediums if you have any.

We will discuss materials in the first class so you will be able to make informed decisions about what to buy for the rest of the course and beyond.
