Drawing in the Landscape

OVERVIEW
School: WEA (Workers Education Association)

Develop an individual drawing style and gain an appreciation of different environments whilst drawing outdoors. Suitable for beginners and experienced students.  I will help you develop skills for drawing with confidence ‘en plein air’.

Wind, rain and sun are constant ingredients for the outdoor experience but spending time ‘with nature’ in a city like Sydney is unforgettable! We choose locations with a cafe or shelter nearby in case of bad weather which may involve buying a drink (cost not included in class fee).

DESTINATIONS are chosen from iconic Sydney locations such as:
  • The Chinese gardens
  • Circular Quay & The Rocks
  • Harbourside Bays & beaches
  • Wendy Whiteley’s garden
  • Churches &Cemeteries
  • Taronga Zoo
  • Cockatoo Island
  • and many more

Time:  Wednesdays 1:00 – 3.30pm
Date:  3 May – 28 June 2017
